Access Sunday: The Reverend
Brian Cross, Founder and Pastor of Bluegrass Deaf Mission, was our guest speaker
March 22. Rev.
Cross, his wife Beth, and two sons Dave and Ethan also participated. Mrs. Cross is the Executive
Director of the Kentucky Office for the Blind. The Bluegrass Deaf
Mission congregation has also attended the Forum class and the 11:00 Service.
BUILD Nehemiah Action
Through participation in BUILD, Second Church seeks to meet God’s requirement that we “do
justice”-- not just by helping the victims of injustice and
misfortune, but also by bringing about systemic change so that there
will be fewer victims. The annual Nehemiah Action was held on Monday, March 23,
at Immanuel Baptist Church ...more
