Confirmation is a time for 8th graders or above to learn about and choose to become a confirmed member of our church. Confirmation will begin with our Fall Retreat - Friday, Sept. 20 from 6-9 pm and Saturday, Sept. 21 from 8:30 am - 12 pm. We will have faith chat meetings and mission opportunities, among other events, between October and February as Confirmands explore what faith means to them and how they can be a part of living out their faith here at Second. We will finish our Confirmation learning and discernment time with our Spring Retreat on Feb. 21 and Feb 22. Parents and Mentors will be involved in some of our Retreat time and Confirmation events! Confirmands will also participate in other activities October through April to explore how and where they can live out their faith in the church. We are looking forward to a great year with our Confirmands!!

All of the activities we do during Confirmation will support youth as they continue their faith journey and prepare to confirm their baptismal promises as members of the church. Youth who have not been baptized yet can also be baptized as a part of the Confirmation service.
